He said it right he’s not a good guitarist but he found his technique with pedals and computers, if you take all that equipment from him he wouldn’t even be average, but you have to acknowledge him on the technical side he is great, it’s all about sounds and this guy got all of them, unlike Hendrix he had two pedals, but if you took them pedals away he still was a great rhythm and lead guitarist, that’s why Jimi is goat of guitar players and Adrian is the goat of tech and computer sounds

On the question with the hypersensitive cat, I'd add that cats can sense things that we can't. Maybe this cat is overreacting to stimuli that we can't perceive. Or maybe when she's being held, she's fine until the touch reaches a certain threshold, but can't tolerate anything beyond that. When she suddenly acts out, she's just trying to escape the stimulus. Tha cat owner can observe the cat's micro signals, and learn to stop the holding, petting or whatever, before it reaches that threshhold. Micro signals can be twitchy tail tip, shifting ears, wide open eyes, twitchy whiskers, and more.

It doesn't matter that this talk has it's 10th anniversary, It is and should be essential, mandatory viewing to everyone with even the slightest interest in viewing Russia in an accurate context, not only the conflict in Ukraine, but the threats to European unity, and also as a grounding to their insidious influence in US internal affairs. Start here, then update with a more recent talk of his, or someone like General Hodges, his thoughts are current and very relevant strategically. Recommended.

The rift between physicists and philosophers has progress in areas such as physical cosmology. We should allow questions that cannot be answered and reject the dogmatic answers that cannot be questioned. Anyone who has read “Science at the Crossroads. A Rational Scrutiny of the Clock Paradox in Einstein’s Relativity” by emeritus professor Sir Herbert Dingle FRS will understand my point. In my presentation “ On the Nature of Time and Simultaneity Part 1” I provide an answer to Dingles' question which I use as proof by contradiction. I congratulate Jimena for writing one of my favourite books, which I also refer to.

As for the subject of the interview, Teju Cole, I was surprised and pleased to hear his commentary on Schindler's List: surprised, because it was shown so long ago, though he's obviously thought about it for a log time, and pleased, because when my [late] mother and I went to see it-actually fortified, ahead of time, with tissues-we left the movie theater dry-eyed, and agreeing that it was sentimental, to the hilt, and wondering what all the fuss and praise was about? It's been a long time, but unless I've created a false memory, the wheeling out of the actual Mrs. Schindler, in a post-film sequence, was, for me, the final insult to the viewer's intellectual, and emotional, intelligence.
